ID Center Assistant:

Responsibilities include:

1.) Make new and/or replacement ID’s for University students, faculty and staff by verifying they have been accepted or employed by K-State through proper documentation.  Complete the correct forms with necessary information and accurately post this information into the computer programs and produce the cards utilizing the card printer.

2.) Accept deposit/payments for Cat Cash accounts, Gift Cards, Meal Plan accounts and other accounts.  Must be able to explain to customers accurately what the various accounts are and how they may be used. Complete these transactions by properly handling cash and other tender methods and posting the information into the correct computer program.

3.) Demonstrate high standard of customer service.  Answer phone calls made to the ID Center.  Accurately answer questions for customers or transfer them to the proper individual or department to answer questions or address their needs.

4.) Record daily/monthly number of ID’s replaced and record and post ID bill payments.

5.) Must be able to work between the hours of 8-5 M-F, this includes some times when classes are not in session

Responsibilities of the position include: Ensure all customers are educated on products/ services while providing a high level of customer service by greeting customers, receiving and calling back customer orders in a friendly manner. Must respond proactively to prevent customer service situations, as well as accurately ringing in orders and providing accurate transactions. Will prepare food according to Chick-fil-A standards and maintain a high level of cleanliness and restock products when necessary.

Night/Weekend Building Operations Assistant

Must be available to work approximately 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Building Operations Assistant:

Set up and tear down Union rooms for events, moving tables/chairs as needed as part of setting up. Periodically check rooms in order to ensure proper set-up, cleanliness, etc. Must demonstrate a high standard of customer service. Responsible for daily cleaning duties such as wiping down furniture, sweeping carpets, etc.
