Einstein Bros. Bagel Team Lead

Part Time; $9.00/hour

Monday-Thursday 6am to 11am & Friday 6am to 3pm (or until closing duties are complete)

 

Responsibilities Include: Demonstrates a working knowledge of Einstein Bros. Bagels quality requirements, processes and procedures. Holds fellow workers to Einstein Bros. Bagels standards. Communicates clearly and effectively. Strives for personal excellence in the workplace. Pays attention to details. Demonstrates effective time management skills. Takes ownership of assigned tasks and takes responsibility and accountability for outcomes of decisions. Creates and maintains a warm and welcoming environment. Flexible and adaptive in stressful work situations. Focused on the guest experience - Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with all customers.  Learns and executes appropriate tasks related to product cooking, assembly, sales, cleanup, etc. Ensures the production of the highest quality at all times. Answers customer questions regarding available product and encourages product sales. Ensures safe and sanitary measures at all times.  Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations. Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty. Restocks product/inventory when necessary. Routinely cleans and sanitizes area, empties trash, etc.  Reports potential safety hazards and all employee accidents to the manager on duty. Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.  Complete opening and/or closing procedures. Ensure checklists of tasks are completed to satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months’ experience in food service industry. Familiarity with federal and state food handling and storage laws and regulations. Must be able to work early mornings, weekends and special events as needed. Must be well organized and detail-oriented. Must maintain effective problem-solving/decision making skills. Must possess excellent verbal English communication skills.

Must be able to: This position requires physical stamina for frequent standing, walking and use of hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently bend and twist from the waist. Frequently requires use of hand and finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to adjust vision to be able to focus on distant and close-range projects. Regularly required to handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects. Must possess the ability to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, express oneself, and exchange information in English. Preferred Qualifications: One year of food service management experience. Associate’s degree in any subject.
