Our recently renovated 270,000 square foot facility is comprised of five ADA-compliant levels plus the 90,000 square foot outdoor Bosco Student Plaza (formerly Union Plaza) that can be reserved to support your activity. “Host to the Campus” of Kansas State University, the K-State Student Union is a multipurpose center that employs more than 500 staff members and is used by thousands of people daily. More than 11,000 meeting reservations are processed by the Union’s reservations staff annually.

Reservable rooms

The Student Union has rooms to meet nearly every group’s conference needs. This includes two auditoriums, six dining rooms, a spacious ballroom with seating for up to 1,000 people, a courtyard, and several lounges. The Little Theatre offers the latest in conference technology. Parking

Panoramic view of the new Parking Garage
In fall 2007, Kansas State University began construction on a parking garage and connecting skywalk to replace the 400 stall surface parking lot south of the K-State Student Union. When completed, the 1,384 stall garage will more than triple the available parking opportunities for your convention, reception, meeting, or event. K-State Student Union Catering welcomes the opportunity to serve you. We pride ourselves on offering an outstanding array of food and beverage selections designed to meet a variety of needs. We are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of catering services, from a simple coffee break to extravagant receptions and dinners. Our catering staff strives to develop and produce customized menus. We invite you to contact our experts to assist you in planning your next event.

Guidelines

  • Room Reservations: All room reservations are made through the K-State Student Union Director’s Office by calling (785) 532-6591. Please do this prior to contacting the catering office. There is no Room Rental Fee for groups with catering.
  • Attendance Guarantee: KSSU Catering requires a confirmed number of attendees on all catered events. Your designated representative must confirm the number 48 hours before your event. Unless the final count is higher, your confirmed number is what you will be billed.
  • Confirmation & Billing: Groups requesting tax exemption must provide necessary forms and their ID number before the event. A copy of your final arrangements will be mailed to you, upon request.
  • Service Fees: There is a service fee attached to catered orders. There is no service fee on pick-up orders.

  • Featured Services - The following options are available as an all-inclusive package, or you can combine the elements you want for a custom package.
  • Room Rental - Elegant and affordable rooms suitable for rehearsal dinners, weddings, and receptions of any size. Contact the Assisstant Director of Operations at 785-532-7499.
  • Catering - Custom creations that make a statement. We offer full service catering to meet the needs and expectations of your guests. Contact the Catering Sales Coordinator at 785-532-6068.
  • Gift Ideas - The K-State Student Union Bookstore offers a variety of gift ideas that range in all prices. Located on the Ground Floor of the K-State Student Union. Recreation Center - A night your guests will surely remember. Surprise them with a fun evening of bowling and billiards. Contact the K-State Student Union Recreation Center at 785-532-7389.
