Caribou Coffee has teamed up with Project 7 to help communities at the local and national level. Project 7 is a for-profit company that donates half of their profits every year to charities in 7 critical areas:

• HOUSE the Homeless
• HEAL the Sick
• FEED the Hungry
• HELP Those in Need
• HOPE for Peace
• BUILD the Future
• SAVE the Earth

Project 7 water, gum, and mints are now offered in all Caribou Coffee stores, including the one in your K-State Student Union. Please check out Project 7’s website at www.project7.com for more information.

Q: What is the minimum Project 7 will donate in 2009?
A: A baseline of $105,000 every year. That equals $15,000 per each of the 7 causes to equal $105,000

Q: How will I know that my money is going to these projects?
A: December of each year, scanned check images to the organizations that have received funds will be online and you can track their progress the entire year.

Q: Does project 7 donate locally nationally or globally?
A: You the consumer decides annually in our online vote in December. They have to be a U.S. Based charity but can be resourcing areas of need locally or abroad.

Q: Who chooses the final Project 7 charity for each cause?
A: You the consumer on our website

Q: Can I suggest an organization to receive Project 7’s contribution money?
A: Yes! Send them to our website and there is a non profit application they can fill out.
