Involvement Exploration Quiz - When students aren't sure where to start, they can begin by taking the Involvement Exploration Quiz. The quiz will consider different aspects of student life and preferences. The quiz will share some recommendations on where to start an involvement journey.

Cat Trax - Cat Trax is a student engagement program designed to help K-State students make the most of their college experience. Accessible through OrgCentral, students can earn points, prizes and more by doing things that help them get involved, stay healthy, broaden their horizons and prepare for their future career.

Meet with a Staff Member - Meet with a staff member from our office to learn more and get personalized ideas!

Need a part-time job to help pay for college? Want to earn some extra spending cash? One of the best ways to get connected and involved on campus is by getting an on-campus job! Having a job on campus will help you connect with other students, gain important leadership and employment skills, and have a supervisor who can help you track down resources you might need for your success. While some positions are specific for Federal Work Study eligible students, many are not.

Physical health and well-being is an important aspect to both your success on campus - both socially and academically. K-State's department of Recreational Services has a number of programs and facilities available to help you find your home away from home - Fitness Services, Intramurals, Outdoor Rentals, Climbing Wall, and Challenge Course.

Interested in giving back to your community? Beyond student organizations, there are a number of other great opportunities for you to get involved and give back all at the same time.
 
HandsOn Kansas State
Coordinated within the Staley School of Leadership Studies, HandsOn Kansas State provides a number of opportunities for students to perform service in the Manhattan community and take on leadership roles. 
 
Cats' Cupboard
The campus food pantry available for all students and faulty/staff is run completely by student volunteers. You can sign up to be a regular volunteer or help with making donations.

Living on campus is more than just having a place to live, it also means a wide-array of additional involvement opportunities for you to take part in. 
 
Housing & Dining Services Involvement Opportunities 
Whether it be one of the registered student organizations (Association of Residence Halls or National Residence Hall Honorary), participating in a hall governing or judicial board, becoming a Residential Learning Assistant, or something else, you're certain to find something of interest.

Research something of great interest to you personally or academically, assist a faculty member with a research project, and get experience to set yourself apart from your peers when applying for jobs, internships, or post-baccalaureate programs. Speak with your academic advisor or faculty members about opportunities specific to your major to learn more.

Staley School of Leadership Studies
More than just getting a minor, you can get involved with a number of other programs to help get you more experience and development at the same time. 

As a student enrolled in classes, you are automatically a member of the Student Governing Association (SGA), but perhaps you want to take it one step further and get involved so your voice can be heard! SGA is comprised of three branches, much like our US government, including the executive, legislative, and judicial. Each branch has a unique way for students to get involved so you can find just the right fit for what your looking for. SGA's legislative branch - Senate - meets every Thursday night at 7pm in Wildcat Chamber (K-State Student Union).
