Keep it Cool at the Union
Dog days of summer got you down? Beat the heat with your friends and family at the K-State Student Union!
All of our restaurants are open Monday through Friday, with Subway available on the weekend, so you can avoid any debate over where to eat. Hours vary by location, but 11 a.m. 2 p.m. Monday through Friday is the sweet spot where they all overlap. Between Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Just Salad, Qdoba, Subway, Radina's at the Union, and Einstein Bros. Bagels there's something for everyone.
While you're here, stop by the "Picturing Nam" exhibit in the William T. Kemper Art Gallery and see an unvarnished view of the Vietnam War from the work of thousands of military photographers. Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Aug. 10, the exhibit is a informative and emotional experience.
Visiting Wabash Cannon Bowl is another great way to pass a hot day without being stuck at home, and you can take advantage of our summer specials! Kids 12 and under bowl free with a paying adult from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Nightly specials change Monday through Thursday, including Dollar & Change Night, 3 2 1 Fun Night, Wildcat Wednesdays, and Throwback Thursdays. All summer specials are good until Aug. 1.
