Come on Back!
Although it may seem as if the K-State Student Union renovation has been going on forever, September marks two years since Turner Construction began its work. The results have been well worth it! Beautiful new spaces are open throughout the building, from new student offices, lounge spaces, new restaurants to enhanced technology and great new meeting spaces. If you haven’t already done so, please check us out.
Gone is the food court, replaced by several excellent restaurants - a cozy coffeehouse, K-State’s favorite ice cream shop, delicious Mexican and Asian cuisine, the best chicken sandwiches in America, healthy salad choices and wraps and great sandwiches and subs. Opening in the fall, a restaurant bar/grill like Manhattan has never seen. Union Station by JP’s and the adjacent quick service area, Fast Tracks, will be amazing! Stay tuned for more information.
During renovation, some meetings and special events have shifted to other campus locations, but now is the time to return and experience both the quality and unique atmosphere that the Union offers. The premier location for meetings, meals and special events, the Union also features a completely remodeled Bluemont Room (left) and Wildcat Chamber (formerly Little Theatre, middle and right).
The Union is an active community center where the campus family comes to enjoy and use the various facilities. The only way to know it is to visit it. And what’s inside is for you!
