Just Salad will be closing its location in the K-State Student Union Friday, May 4. The restaurant, a destination for healthy salads, wraps and fresh smoothies, opened in the fall of 2016 as a part of the Your Union Renovation Project. Student feedback early in the project indicated a need for a healthier food option in the Union’s restaurant choices.

“The rumors are true. We are closing the Union location as we focus expansion efforts into existing and new markets across the country. We want to thank the Kansas State community for your patronage. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve you and hope we can make healthy happen for you again. Our last day will be on Friday, May 4,” said Stephen Schwartz, Just Salad marketing director.

The Union is in discussions with other food vendors and plan to fill the vacated space with a new restaurant to open in fall 2018.
