Jordan Schaeffer Art Exhibit

Each individual finds inspiration through unique channels, and for Jordan Schaeffer, it comes as a result of observing light and nature, especially as it evolves with the changing seasons.

Originally hailing from Gardner, Kansas, Schaeffer is a self-taught artist who has discovered the therapeutic power of painting through her personal struggle with mental illness. From her journey, she has discovered growth, and she aims to infuse her art with the same sense of peace she experiences while creating it. Schaeffer’s hope is that her artwork will allow others to admire the beauty of nature that surrounds them and find a sense of wonder and admiration through her artwork.

The “Jordan Schaeffer Art Exhibit”  will be on display in the William T. Kemper Art Gallery in the K-State Student Union from Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Sept. 15, 2023.
