Location: K-State Student Union, 918 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Manhattan, KS 66506
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. Duties include general cleaning, floor care, restroom maintenance and setting up for events.

Position Details: Full-Time
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Work Schedule: Available: Day shift: 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. OR Evening shift: 5 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. ($0.60/hour shift differential applies)
Pay range: $15.50/hour (evening shift includes $0.60/hour shift differential)
Supervised by: Manager/Building Operations

Key Functions:
Maintain clean and sanitary building space, offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, common areas, furnishings, equipment, building entrances and exterior walkways. Follow all OSHA janitorial safety standards. Operate/utilize multiple tools, electrically-powered and manual machines, cleaning compounds, solvents and chemicals.
Qualification Requirements: N/A
Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and a commitment to providing excellent service. Previous custodial experience is helpful but not required.
Background Check: The final candidate must pass a criminal history check as related to the position.
