Walter Smith (1973-1987)

Mr. Smith served as Director of the Union from 1973-1987. He began his service at the Union as an accountant and expanded his role serving as Assistant Director and Associate Director before taking the Director's postion. 

As Director, Walt was known for his patient and relaxed demure, and he fostered a friendly, hospitable enviornment in the Union.
