William G. Smriga (2011-2018)

During his tenure, Smriga led the successful 2015-17 $32 million Your Union renovation project for the Union and brought the Union into a budget surplus throughout his term. Under Smriga's leadership, the Union established a new catering model, increased community groups, established more scholarships for students and improved benefits for employees. 

Smriga was known for his ability to connect with student leaders and his lifework in the college union field centered on "making good things happen."
