Student Creative Services is committed to providing essential marketing and creative services to the K-State campus community. Project workflows, service packages and policies are built to create work at the highest level with the lowest barrier to entry possible. For more in-depth information, view Student Creative Services Policies [1].

What is Student Creative Services?

Student Creative Services provides brand strategy, social media, graphic design and photography services to the K-State community. SCS is funded by Student Service Fee allocations [2] from the Student Governing Association and supervised by Union Marketing.

Who can use SCS? How much does it cost?

SCS is available for free to all recognized student organizations and organizations who receive Student Service Fee [2] (SSF) funding from SGA. Organizations who are not recognized student organizations and do not receive SSF funding are eligible for SCS services for a $20/hour fee.

What kind of creative work is done?

SCS provides brand strategy, social media, graphic design and photography services to the K-State community. These services provide a wide array of solutions to marketing needs that campus organizations frequently face.

How long does it take to have a project completed?

While the required time will fluctuate per project, three weeks of lead time is recommended. Nearly all projects will be completed within three weeks after your request is accepted. Please keep in mind that SCS is only available during business days and is not guaranteed during breaks or holidays.

Who do I talk to about my project?

Project-related communication should happen directly with the SCS student lead and the project’s assigned student specialist through SCS’s project management software, WorkZone. Only one person from your organization will be the point of contact for the project.

How do I use WorkZone?
