Need a logo? Or promotional materials for your group or an upcoming event?

Student Creative Services provides free brand strategy, social media and graphic design services to recognized K-State student organizations. Student specialists work one-on-one with clients to develop brand strategies and promotional content to help student organizations grow their brand.

SCS is funded by student services fee allocations from the Student Governing Association and supervised by Union Marketing. All work is provided by students majoring in graphic design, communications, marketing and related degree programs.

University Brand Guide [3]

Before you produce any t-shirt, giveaway or other promotional item, it is good to have the director of licensing review the design to make sure it follows K-State guidelines. Contact Tami at 785-532-6269 or email at tami@k-state.edu [4].

Promote your event

K-State Today [5]– Promote your event in K-State Today. K-State Today is an e-newsletter sent to faculty, staff and students. Submit information for K-State Today here [6].

Posters [7]– Print your posters, banners, and more at University Printing [8] and hang them on appropriate bulletin boards around campus. For information and guidelines, visit the posting policy [7]. You can also submit posters to the Union and Housing and Dining, but you have to contact them to get approval.

  • Contact Union Marketing [9] to get approval in the Union.
  • Contact Housing [10] to submit promotions to the residence halls.

Chalking [11]– Promoting your event on campus sidewalks is a great way to get the word out to the campus community. Just make sure you follow the chalk policy [11]. Here are a few highlights.

  • Only washable chalk. Spray chalk or spray paint is not allowed.
  • Only chalk on flat, paved/concrete surfaces. (Not on steps, pillars, or walls.)
  • At least 30 feet from a building’s entrance.

SPI Update  [12]- Each week, SPI sends out an e-newsletter to all student organization leaders and advisors via OrgCentral. If you have interest in sharing information about events via this newsletter, contact Student Programs and Involvement.
