Passport FAQs

  • Yes, a passport photo can be taken and the photo fee is $15 for two 2"x2" photos.
  • Walk in photos are also available. 
  • Children aged 16-17 must be accompanied by one parent with the DS-3053 form
  • For children under age 16, the child and both parents and/or legal guardian(s) must appear in person and present the following:
    • Evidence of the child’s U.S. citizenship
    • Evidence of the child’s relationship to parents/guardian(s)
    • Parental/guardian identification
  • If only one parent can appear, you must also submit one of the following:
    • DS-3053 Statement of Consent Form and a copy, front and back, of non-applying parent's ID
    • Second parent’s notarized written statement consenting to issuance for the child with a photocopy, front and back, of non-applying parent’s ID
    • Primary evidence of sole authority to apply
    • A written statement (made under penalty of perjury) explaining the second parent’s unavailability
  • An appointment for 1 person takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
  • An appointment for more than 1 person takes approximately 1 hour. 
  • Each applicant needs to come with the application completed, but not signed, all applicable documentation, and a personal check or money order for payment.
  • Only photo and processing fee can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, cash, money order, or cashier's check. Passport fees must be paid with a check or a money order.
  • The Routine processing time can take up to 7-10 weeks. Expedite service ($60) can take up to 3-5 weeks 
  • 1-2 day delivery (Routine and Expedited, $19.53)
    • Paid per application for 1-2 day delivery of an issued passport book from the Department of State to the customer. This only applies to mailing addresses within the United States. Not valid for passport cards. 

Only DS-82 forms qualify.
