Starting just yesterday, I noticed that when the front door to the office closes, it seems to be somewhat slower and either the fastening mechanism catches the door and then the door doesn't close completely OR the door closes completely, but the fastening mechanism doesn't click into place. When I came in this morning, I had a locked door handle, but the mechanism was outside and the door was cracked. I am NOT sweating this (no shade on the cleaning team because I'm certain that they expected it to close and engage as per usual and I know the Union is locked and secured at night) and I'm the only one that had noticed so far when I spoke to others up here about it. The PCF staff will be more deliberate about making sure we push on the door when we close up for the night, so that we ensure that the latch mechanism has "clicked". If this is something you can't get to immediately, please just advise the cleaning staff to do the same until someone can come up and figure out what's wrong. Thank you!!
