UPC Presents The Driver Era
From the organization that brought artists such as Yung Gravy, Ben Rector and Nick Jonas, the Union Program Council will present The Driver Era on April 11 at Bramlage Coliseum.
Formed in 2018 by brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch, The Driver Era burst onto the scene with their debut single “Preacher Man,” followed by the album “X” in 2019. The group has continued to expand their sound with albums like “Girlfriend” and “Summer Mixtape” featuring hits such as “Get Off my Phone” and “Same Old Story.” Their newest album, “Obsession,” will be released on April 11 just in time for their K-State performance.
Known for soulful melodies, upbeat rhythms and introspective lyrics, the duo has built a devoted fanbase and continues to shape the indie and alternative music landscape. Before forming The Driver Era, Ross and Rocky were members of the pop band R5. Ross also starred in Disney Channel productions including “Austin & Ally,” “Teen Beach Movie” and “Teen Beach 2.”
