K-State, Turn Your Swag On: UPC Presents Soulja Boy

From the organization that brought you artists such as Yung Gravy, The Driver Era and Nick Jonas, Union Program Council will present Soulja Boy on April 18 at Bramlage Coliseum.

Rapper, producer and cultural icon Soulja Boy is set to bring his high-energy performance style and chart-topping hits to Bramlage. Rising to fame with his breakout singles “Crank That”, "Turn My Swag On" and "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" Soulja Boy quickly became known for blending music, dance and digital culture, helping shape the modern landscape of hip-hop and social media-driven music promotion.

Known for famous beats, crowd-engaging performances and trendsetting creativity, Soulja Boy remains a recognizable figure in hip-hop to this day.

Opening for Soulja Boy is a familiar name around K-State — Aux Cord Wars, a live musical gameshow that invites audience participation and high-energy competition. The interactive opener gives attendees the chance to influence the music, show off their song selections and compete for prizes as part of the pre-show experience.

The event will be hosted by touring entertainers Jay Dukes and Trizzy, alongside ACW’s official DJs, creating an atmosphere inspired by classic DJ battles — with the crowd deciding which selections move the room. The interactive format puts participants at the center of the action and sets the tone for an exciting night before Soulja Boy takes the stage.

Soulja Boy is scheduled to perform Saturday, April 18 at Bramlage Coliseum. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Student tickets are priced at $10, with general public tickets available for $25. Tickets will go on sale soon at kstateupc.com

The concert is organized and sponsored by the Union Program Council in partnership with the K-State Student Union and Student Governing Association. UPC’s Campus Entertainment Fund is funded through student service fees and engages the K-State community with performers based on student surveys. Past events have included comedians Ken Jeong, Will Ferrell and Bo Burnham, as well as concerts featuring Nick Jonas, T-Pain and Yung Gravy.
