The K-State Student Union is opening various meeting rooms for additional student study spaces in response to the increased need following Hale Library's closure. Signs saying "This room is available for student study use" will be posted outside open spaces on the ground, second and third floors. Potential spaces include:

  • Room 057 on the ground floor, next to the 91.9 KSDB FM station
  • Meeting rooms on the east side of the second floor
  • Third floor conference rooms

You can always view currently available spaces and times at, or check the digital screens throughout the Union.

Large whiteboards and electronic flip boards are available throughout the Union for use by student study groups on a first-come, first-served basis.

Study room availability will vary daily. The set-up of tables, chairs and equipment in spaces cannot be altered by students. Building managers will come by rooms prior to scheduled reservations to request that the space be cleared. Students must leave a room if a building manager requests it.

If you have reserved a space and it is occupied, or if the set-up is not correct, the on-call building manager can be reached at 785-770-2951.
