The Union is hosting a webinar in collaboration with UNI eSports consulting firm at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 via Zoom. This webinar will review the data from survey results on the potential development of an eSports facility or program on the Manhattan campus. Anyone interested in hearing about the survey results is invited to attend, and can access the Zoom meeting here.

The survey was distributed to K-State students, faculty, staff and administration earlier this semester through a partnership with UNI eSports consulting firm. eSports - a genre of video games with a competitive element or dimension - is a global phenomenon, particularly among the college-aged population. As such, higher ed institutions across the country have begun to create formal eSports programs on campuses.
