Winter Break Hours 2022

The K-State Student Union will have adjusted hours for Winter Break and Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 through Monday, Jan. 16, 2023). Quick links to hours are available below, as well as on the individual business and restaurant pages.

Key adjustments include:

  • The Union and all restaurants, shops and services will be closed Dec. 24-28.
  • Wabash Cannon Bowl, Hunt Brothers Pizza and e-sports:
    • Closed Monday to Wednesday Dec. 19 - Dec. 28
    • Closed Sunday to Tuesday Jan. 1 -Jan. 3
    • Closed Monday to Tuesday Jan. 9-10
    • Closed Monday, Jan. 16 
  • Many offices will have extended closures:
    • Closed Friday, Dec. 16 through Monday, Jan. 16: Welcome Desk
    • Closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2: Human Resources, Union IT, Union Marketing, Union Business Office, Union Program Council, Union Director's Office, ID Center
    • Closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 3 : Union Engraving Services
    • Closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2: Copy Center
  • Select restaurants may be closed or have reduced hours.
    • All restaurants will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Jan. 2

            • Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Friday, Dec. 16

          • Panda Express: 
            • Closing at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16
            • Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, Jan. 9 through Jan. 13
          • Chick-fil-a:
            • Closing at 2 p.m. Friday,  Dec. 16
            • Open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m Monday -Friday, Dec. 19 through Dec. 23
            • Open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday - Friday, Jan. 2-Jan. 13
            • Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17
          • Subway:
            • Closing 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16
            • Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, Jan. 9-Jan. 13

Locations open Monday, Jan. 16 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day: K-State Campus Store, Cat Tech, Cats' Den. All other shops, services and administrative offices will be closed.

The K-State Parking Garage will have free access from Saturday Dec. 24, 2022 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. Gates will resume normal operations Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.
